I squealed up in my taxi, with hundreds of rounds flying at me from NOOSE AK47s/M14s, and stopped by my associates. Then I was prompted that I'd left my accomplices behind and needed to go get them. I sprinted for a car, with about 25% health left and somehow managed to get myself into one of the Blista-style taxis.
I was playing GTAIV's bank robbery mission last night, and I got to the end of it, where you are finally freed from the scripted cop appearances, and my accomplices were running next to me.
